Tread of Pioneers Museum - Zimmerman House

The Queen Anne style Zimmerman house was constructed in 1908 by Ernest Campbell, who also built the Christian Science Society Building and the Campbell Building. The Zimmerman family lived here for 43 years. In 1959 the Tread of Pioneers Museum opened in the building, which at that time was located at 5th and Oak streets. In 1988 when the County Courthouse annex was built, the building was moved to this location.
