Trailer Torsion Axle design - Stelu Harsan - 2011.08.28
Features (dimensions are in mm):
- double square frame 80x80x5; welded together with several U shape brackets (8mm thickness)
- same U shape bracket is used to fix one side of the leaf spring (fixing shaft, washers and nuts ommited)
- the springs are not collinearly aligned due to input requirements (max 700mm between the axles )
- for the fixation between wheel shafts, springs and shock absorber, the washers and nuts are ommited; on the same element the shock absorber is fixed, it can also be fixed (modifying the bracket) the anti-roll bar
