My tiny house has a footprint of 500 square feet and is made up of renewable and recyclable materials. The outside shell is designed in a way to provide a natural heating and cooling system which is more economical in terms of money and consumes less energy. It consists of wooden strips that hold together pieces of glass which open and close to let in air and natural light. The curved shape optimizes the amount of sunlight that enters the house form different directions at different times of the day. The inside cube is made up of switchable glass panels meaning it can change from transparent to opaque and the straight walls make it easy to place furniture. To avoid extra heating at night, the floor is made up of dark tiles that absorb the heat and radiate it when it’s cold due to its thermal mass. This modern design allows for a pleasant view without losing comfort, especially in harsh weather conditions. The open concept design allows for the customer to maximize the functional areas for multiple activities.
