this full metal case allows the enclosed computer system to run with no fans or pumps. it best utilizes passive cooling, thanks to the thermal dissipation properties of copper and aluminium. the natural airflow is aided by an electrostatic induction device with no moving parts. because there are no fans blocking the inlets or exits, efficient airflow is acheived beyond what is possible with a conventional computer case.

the construction is unique in that there is no inner frame. the external pieces interlock to form the enclosure. all seams are flush and there are no exposed fasteners. the elevated craftsmanship makes this personal computer a piece of fine furniture viewable from all angles. the ugly back panel we've hidden for decades is not present here. necessary connections are relocated for neater cabling.

the stamped aluminium side panels can be anodized in a range of colors and graphics to reflect customer individuality. the cast copper base is manufactured similar to an engine block, and goes through several final machining steps. the same cast blank can be used for units other than the 4150, making it cost effective as a bespoke component.

this design is the exact same compact size as the current 4150 case. i have illustrated the unit alongside a 12" diameter fishbowl for comparison of scale.

the transparent window lets us peek inside, and doubles as a universal system performance indicator light. the colour indicates core temperature, and the rate of blinking indicates computation load.
