The stock Z-Endstop is quite limited. My glassbed adds 5 mm to the buildplate and the z homing wouldn't allow to only modify firmware settings. This is a simple plate that gives you several mounting positions in steps of 4mm to choose from (up to +16mm).
The recess gives some space for the pins on the back of the board. You can use the stock screws to attach the board to the plate. Since i was out of proper screws to attach it to the original plate, the bottom holes are small. Feel free to drill them open to match your choice of screws.
Print it with the large flat side down!
