Needed a small ramp for my Pygmy Hedgehog Socke, he slips and struggels to run up my previous attempts, so this time i completely overengineered the thing to make sure its the last one i`ll ever build.
it fits over 18mm wide Terrarium Frontrails. The side parts get boltet with 2x M3 machine screw each and some M3 nuts to a wooden Board (300x150x3). The Middle Part is boltet between the side pieces to prevent my hedgie from getting his little feet caught in some holes or in the Rails themselfes. I also put some grass-like stuff on top so he doesnt slip and some Tape around all edges to smooth out all corners and make it easier to clean.
The Parts have a 25 degree angle so your wooden board should be between 3-4mm in thickness , 150mm wide and the length is: length of board(mm) = heigh of your door rails (mm) / 0,422
( for example my rails are 126.6mm above floor level so the length of my board should be exactly 300mm ), that way the angle of your board is 25 degrees so your animal can run it up easy.
i would like to see some of your builds :D have fun
