Little sister to the other terraPin pinhole cameras, Bijou shoots a 6 x 4.5 vertical format in a proper 4:3 ratio. For landscape orientation, just rotate her sideways on your tripod. Using the terraPin slider joint, expect other extension sizes in the future, or create your own!
This has become the most popular pinhole camera I have designed with pinhole photographers. NOW with the Sidewinder body for Portrait and Landscape formats!

In addition to the new format, you will also get sixteen exposures per roll of 120 film. For proper film indexing, the film must load on the left and be spooled on the right.
At f/135, Bijou uses the same exposure calculations as the P6*6 and terraPin 6X6 in their 35mm focal length versions. Owing to the smaller image on the film, there will be less vignetting than the terraPin 6X9. The Bijou still has a frame 270% larger than the standard 135 (35 mm) film frame.
The sliding shutter is a new design that I like quite well. It should be more secure in your camera bag than many of the swinging shutter designs I have used. Also, the extension is symmetrical, so you can easily flip it 180 degrees if you like to trip your shutter on the left side.
The terraPin was modeled using Tinkercad and OpenSCAD. Credit and thanks to Thingiverse citizen Aubenc for the Knurled Surface Library v2, which greatly improves the appearance of my cameras.
