Tension Energy ist the major work of art in the Swiss traffic space. It consists of two roundabouts connected with 139 meter long steel cable. The smaller roundabout (shown here) is adorned with a concrete sphere of 14 tons and 4,50 meters diameter. The bigger roundabout of 40 meters outer diameter on the main road is denoted with a 24,6 meter high steel bow. The bow, the sphere and the cable weight together 23 540 kg and stretch over 200 meters. It took five years to build the artwork and 50 local companies to finance it (450.000 Swiss francs).
