Another simple Temp tower...
The base is 30 x 20 mm, 1mm thick
The tower is 15 x 15 mm
From 180 to 225°C
At 0.2mm, 30mm/sec, with a 0.4mm nozzle, let's go for an hour printing.
For an automatic printing, you'll have to modify your Gcode (temp change) at the following layers:
56,111,166,221,276,331,386,441,496
by adding a M104 T0 SXXX command where XXX is the temperature you want to match.
If you have the Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro B, you can download the file called "Temptower PLA with Temp.gcode" and use it as is.
Of course, nothing original, just another Temp Tower
Have fun
EDIT 2019-01-12:
Added a PETG one, as asked by someone.
EDIT 2019-01-25:
As VanessaE (https://www.thingiverse.com/VanessaE/about), thank's to her, left a very interesting comment, i make a copy/paste of her comment, because it is a tip to avoid to add temp changes, manualy in the gcode, and this comment is really versatile:
Useful little tower. Tip: for Slic3r, insert this into "after layer change" g-code (Printer -> Custom G-code):
{if [layer_z] > 1}M104 S{ floor( { [layer_z] / 11} )*5 + 180}
Then slice/export and print. This will generate the temperature changes needed, at the correct spots (just before each horizontal rule), without having to manually edit the G-code file. It actually puts an M104 Sxxx on every layer, but the value only changes at each 11 mm segment, so it still has the desired effect.
EDIT 2020-05-02:
As required by some makers, i added 2 new versions :
PLA Inverted
PETG Inverted
Instead of having a increasing temperature from bottom to top, it is now decreasing.
Have Fun, and choose the right temp !!!
