"By creating comfortable, inviting spaces to work, we are naturally encouraged to interact and share. This leads to greater collaboration and greater productivity.

The office of the future is not a single being in a single chair, it is a happy, effective team with adaptive resources and space to allow ideas to grow."

Please view the attached sheets for more information about the 'Teamspace' desk, and see below for a basic overview.

Features:
- Large hardwood work surface for warm, tactile hours at the desk.

- Integrated light sensor and 'LED Sympathy' backlights to decrease screen edge contrast in low light environments. Inspired by NEC's Human Sensor and AmbiBright™ technologies for a harmonious design solution.

- Integrated Leap Motion controller for intuitive gestural manipulation during team sessions. The controller can also be used to "throw" screens around, making full use of NEC's PiP and PbP capabilities.

Use custom gestural controls to raise and lower the desk between sitting and standing height, with Teamspace's motorised leg mechanism.

- Multiconnect technology allows instant hardwire connection between grouped Teamspace desks, for sharing resources and providing a lightning fast local connection for the PA series monitor's syncing capabilities. Monitors are hooked directly into the desk's control module via the monitor's upstream USB ports.

- Sturdy cast aluminium casters allow effortless mobility to create an ever changing adaptive workspace, where desks can be grouped and re-grouped based on the needs of individual projects.

My core idea for 'Teamspace' was to discourage long, lonely periods of work slumped in front of a keyboard, and instead greatly encourage movement, interaction and teamwork.

The unique Cubli powered 'Perch' Stool is an extreme look at ergonomics, forcing users to keep in constant balancing motion, alleviating common muscular strains that occur due to bad posture and slouching.
