Template I made to adapt a T8 nut to 20mm extrusion. I clamped this template to a piece of 1/8inch by 2 inch flat cold rolled steel I bought from home depot. You could use the aluminum flat bar they have there too, it's just more expensive for the same size piece. once it was clamped in place I used a center punch to mark the holes and drilled them out using a 3mm drill bit. then I came back and used a 9mm drill bit to drill the center hole for the nut. I used a drill press for maximum accuracy.
If you were desperate, you could probably print this and use it like that.
The center hole of the T8 nut is 30mm from the center of the extrusion holes.
