SY Board

The SY board is very easy to store as it folds in half and the wheels can come on and off. It can fit within a standard school locker for easy storage or it can be carried around as the entire electric longboard weighs within 15 lbs and is light weight. This electric longboard is very beneficial for students and daily commuters making their travel from point A to point B very easy, comfortable, and efficient. Besides charging the board, it requires little to no maintenance at all making it very convenient. Since the SY board has full suspension and the tires are made for all terrain and maximum traction the rides will be very smooth. This electric longboard helps the user get to their destinations very quickly.

This board is very unique and different from all other electric longboards out there. Not only does this board have better specifications than most electric longboards on the market, its main feature includes a hinge in the middle of the board which allows the entire board to fold in half, reducing the size of it. This allows for very easy storage especially when the space is small like a school locker. To add, the wheels of the SY board come on and off within seconds for easy storage as well. When the board unfolds and the wheels are mounted on, the board has a slider mechanism which slides onto the middle of the board preventing the board from folding back in or out keeping the board parallel to the ground. The slider mechanism is secured using neodymium magnets for fast and easy locking and unlocking. This electric longboard has full suspension to help provide a smooth ride and the ability to ride over rough terrain. The wheels on this board have thick tires for maximum traction, even in harsh conditions and terrible weather. The tires used are meant for all terrain making this board very versatile. The longboard deck used in the construction of the SY board is a custom­-designed Loaded Vanguard deck made from bamboo. The bamboo provides natural suspension and damping over bumps, while still delivering enough energy for a snappy, responsive ride. The flex and feel of this board cannot be replicated by any other longboard decks made commercially. Not only is bamboo a very sustainable and renewable type of wood, it is also affordable. In addition, the board is also electric so it effortlessly propels and accelerates the user to their destination. The SY board features very strong brushless DC motors which provide great torque and speed. Too add, they provide great range as well. It is extremely fast and can reach speeds up to 30m/h and it has 30% grade hill climbing capabilities. The board is powered with a belt drive system. Not only does this help the system magnify the torque of the motor by 3x, giving the user stronger brakes, faster acceleration, and steeper hill climbing than hub motors, it’s also more quiet and precise, providing a better ride with more control. This board features regenerative braking which helps to charge the battery while the board is just coasting and slowing down, allowing for a longer ride time. The battery is made up of multiple cells of lithium ion batteries. The battery charges within 1 hour and offers 2,500+ watts of power which result in a range of 20+ miles. This means a single charge can last for a very long time making long trips possible or allowing the user to use the board without charging it for a very long period of time. If the battery dies in the middle of a commute, the user can treat the SY board as a regular longboard and they can ride to their destination. The board also features low power consuming led lights for travelling in the dark. These lights are sense lights which means that they will only turn on during the night time. They provide light in the dark when travelling and also make the user visible to surrounding vehicles and traffic making it much more safer to ride this board during the night time. The SY board is controlled using a custom-designed ergonomic handheld bluetooth controller. The controller features a 1.5” x 1.5” touch display which features a speedometer, GPS, battery life viewer, and all other settings and features. The controller itself uses a scroll wheel to move forward or backwards and to adjust the speed and there is a trigger to brake. The trigger is pressure sensitive for precise braking and the wheel is precise for accurate speeds, however this feature can be configured and adjusted to the user’s preference in the settings. The controller itself is small for easy storage just like the board and can easily fit inside a bag or pocket.
