This was designed to replace my daughter's dresser drawer spacer, a Leksvik unit, that used plastic spacers to hold the drawer rails away from the cabinet. Unfortunately they aren't very good, and every single one of them broke apart.
These parts have a much larger footprint to spread the stresses out, and are screwed to the cabinet using 2 #6 x 3/4" wood screws, before 1 #6 x 1" wood screw passes through the drawer slider, this fitting, and secures to the cabinet. It will also take #8 woodscrews, but I had trouble finding some of an appropriate length
I used a high percentage of infill, to make sure that it would be strong enough to hold up to the abuse of a clothes drawer in a kids room. Could be scaled up slightly to provide a better footprint.
