This kit will add rigidity to your Wanhao i3 Plus, Monoprice Select Plus, and other Wanhao Rebranded Clones of this style.
This Mod was created after receiving my Wanhao I3 Plus. Having designed two other braces for the Duplicator I3 V series this was a new undertaking. This mod came as a follow on from my original two designs.
My Goal was to create a Z-Brace Mod that was easy for the beginner to install and not have to drill or change any features about the printer itself.
Do you need a rear mount z-brace?
Maybe not but as I said in my SWD2 version its cool.
Do you need a z-brace in General a resounding "YES" is still the answer.
This rear mount functions exactly like my previous creations.
It stabilizes your z axis so that it is square and does not vibrate creating any ringing in prints or warping of the frame.
Do you need to struggle and try to print this yourself?

Finally this is a rock solid design that incorporates the use of rods to stabilize the printer and for those that have uneven surfaces you are setting your printer on there is levelers.
Please Note: the Levelers are an optional Install but does come with the kit offered by U3DS.
