This pod consists of three parts: The container, the support ring and the connecting rods.
Container: It is the part in which the emergency supplies will be stored. The container is the most suitable component to be 3-D printed. It can be made large or small according to the supplies it will contain. It has been designed in such a way that it does not tumble to its side when the done lands, while keeping a degree of streamline ( atleast against friction drag).
Support Ring: The support ring goes around the container, and will help handle the pressure developed by the supplies.
Rods: The rods attach the container to the drone. They have hooks on each end, and will help keep he container level, to some degree. The hooks can be attached to the drone without significant machining. The rods must be made of reasonably stiff and string materials, since the have to handle the weight of the rest of the pod.
