Once I noticed how hot the stepper drivers on my 3D printer get I decided to design a fan shroud to cool them down. The fan motor is connected to the +FAN1 connector on my Anycubic Kossel linear plus with the stock firmware. This Port is going to be powered up as long as the motors are powered to.
The air channel itself is 115 mm long with an with of 15 mm and an height of 12 mm all measured on the inside. The bottom and all walls are 2 mm thick wich will make a total height of 14 mm.
The "entrance" to the air channel is 48 mm wide and 10 mm high.
The front where a radial fan mounts is 52 by 40 mm
But in case you don't have a fitting fan laying around I also included the FCStd file for FreeCAD so that you can modify my design more easily.
