I created a counter weight box that mounts to the x axis using the tensioner screws/bolts.
It is designed to hold 4 stacks of pennies (25-28 pennies high each) on their sides to give an equivalent weight to the stepper motor on the other side of the X-axis.
The box has a hole in it to allow you to run an allen wrench to the adjustment screw.
In theory, having equal weight on both sides of the X axis should help keep the Z axis motors synchronized. Both should see an equivalent amount of weight and the threaded nuts should also stay on the same part of the threaded rods on both sides.
I also remixed the original tensioner to fit a 9mm wide toothed pulley.
