Hi,
I have uploaded a Simplify "Factory" file with the supports, if you can load it, Yay!
I went in and reworked the feet to allow you to print without a raft and have perfectly flat feet. You will still have to print with support for the hands. Print as high rez and as large as you can. I print in MEDIUM on my MakerGear M2 and it looks great, I never even have to do Hi-Rez.
BUT...READ THIS FIRST::: A LOT of people have written to me saying "I printed it with no supports like you said and the hands are all spaghetti!"...ok folks...allow me to explain some tech so that you can just print this and not waste time and filament. The title says "reworked to print with NO RAFT", not No Supports, see the difference? This is so that you can print directly to the glass or tape and the feet will be perfectly flat to stand on your table...this doesnt mean that you dont have to ADD SUPPORTS MANUALLY TO THE HANDS. (I may try to upload one with all the supports in place so you can just print it).
A "RAFT" in 3D Printing terms is a set of layers that is laid down before the print starts, to give the thing something to stand on and for other supports to adhere to if you are having trouble making it adhere to the glass or dont want to for some reason.
What you need to do BEFORE YOU PRINT is to go in and manually define the supports for the hands, or automagically if your software does this. I use Simplify 3D and I just manually place extra supports at the hands and fingers, usually bringing the resolution down to 1-2mm so that the fingers have somewhere to start their materialization.
