Following an organic aesthetic reminiscent of the flowers's stamens this proposal tries to solve the eccentric rotation that most models produce. This problem happens when the rotation axis diameter is much smaller than the inner tube of the roll paper. As a result, when you pull the paper, the roll gives small jumps within its casing.
Our aim is to avoid this problem by blocking the roll about the rotation axis and make it roll with a platform integrated in the model.
We provide a solution that can be adapted to different inner diameters.

The way to introduce the paper roll is very simple. With one hand we hold the rods joining them so they can fit inside the diameter of the roll. With the other hand we introduce the roll from the top down. The rods expand compressing the roll inside outward. With three attachment points inside we prevent unwanted movement. As the rods are flexible this system is valid for different inner diameters. Now we can turn the paper roll on the base platform. We control the rotation as the paper roll is embedded in our structure.

Pressing the button we activate the platform lock system. Roll stops spinning and it's so much easier to cut the paper.
