Sprouting Lid Mason Canning Jar - Wide by applesan

UPDATE 8-21-17: I added extra small hole lid. This should prevent tiny seeds such as alfalfa seeds from falling out on the first 3 rinses.
These mason jar lids are for sprouting and/or removing hulls.
Instructions:
Add ~1/2 tsp - 1 tsp of alfalfa seeds
Soak the seeds for ~8 hours
Drain
Rinse 2-4 times a day and let it sit with the lid side down.
Increment to larger holes to remove bad seeds and old hulls
Enjoy after 5-7 days
Recommendation:
I'd recommend sprouting one jar a day for a few days. This way you can enjoy several back to back days of fresh sprouts.
Experiment with several seed varieties. Start with alfalfa and mung beans and go from there.
