Simple spool holder/stand using four 608zz (7mm x 8mm x 22mm) bearings. UPDATED: added a bit more space between bearing and bottom and reduced the chamfer size.

I designed the stand with reference to a spool with a diameter of 200mm, but it should work for other spools as well.

I added some grooves at the bottom for easy removal and some fins (feet) for improved stability. Obviously, you need four bearings, four pins, and two holders, which should snap into each other pretty tightly. If necessary, a touch of super glue won't hurt.

This is intended to be an entry-level design project for students to learn about basic sketching, constraints, patterns, projection, extrusion, tolerances, etc.
