This is a design I spun up on my CR-10s for my CR-10s to reduce the friction required when feeding filament, especially at higher speeds. It is designed to mount on top of your printer, and requires minimal parts:
2 x 8mm rods or bolts (needs to be a minimum of 85mm, I used 4 inch bolts)
2 x 8mm nuts
4 x F608Z bearings
2 x 3mm bolts
2 x 3mm t-nuts
You will need to print a roller for each side. I recommend printing with a higher infill percentage, and a strong material such as PLA+ or PETG.
This should be compatible with all 3D printers on 2020 extrusion, however, I have only tested it on my CR-10s.
Changelog:
8/1/2018 - Added an additional model for a 110mm wide variation. This is untested.
