This is a redesign of the popular 3DVerkstan NIH approved face shield. https://3dprint.nih.gov/discover/3dpx-013306
It is functionally equivalent with a few valuable improvements:
No end hooks that get caught in long hair. Holes are still available when printed with the recommended 2mm wall thickness.
Spline based contact surfaces give a more comfortable feel.
The full frame flexes giving a smaller for factor with 2 parts nested on a 8" bed and 4 parts nested on a 12" bed.
Two points of contact on the forehead instead of one provides a more stable fit.
Top of print has a 0.65mm chamfer resulting in one less line; giving a more comfortable surface.
No top or bottom layer is required resulting in a print speed of 9 minutes per part with a 1mm nozzle and standard 40w hotend
Parametric Fusion360 file provided for easy modification. View & Download link: https://a360.co/2RzcD6L
