I prefer to re-use. So the screws that hold in the lens for the power cell seemed like a good candidate to hold the new red lens (cut from a plastic binder from the dollar store, and used a hole punch that fits well onto the existing screw post) it also holds the 7 segment Neopixel boards I had leftover from another project.

The 2 piece design was needed to make sure the Neopixel boards could slide in. This is accomplished by gluing 60% of the standoff to the ring. then part of the standoff can flex and it allows you to put in or remove the board without breaking anything.
The look didn't seem right if the LEDs were too close to the lens( first design), so I added a standoff, and it looks good now.
