Got inspired by Elon's latest speech about his plans to go to Mars. Designed a model based on the presentation of his proposed Mars Transport Vehicle. Scaled it the best I could based upon the pictures and some specs in the presentation. Rocket has 3 parts...the Raptor engine array, the fuselage, and the personnel transport cone. Haven't printed this out yet but I think I have some tips. Print the Raptor array engines up and set the perimeter to 1, I designed the thickness of the engine cone to the width of a single extrusion. Print the fuselage upside down, I think it will build better with the fins and the inner engine stop ring. Because the actual rocket is extremely huge some the the smaller details when scaled down might be lost, like the grid fins, I don't know. For reference, the fuselage is 7" tall, was basing the scale on my ROBO's capabilities in regards to the Z axis. Still tweaking some of the details, and will probably do some more when I get to printing this...enjoy!
