These models are reverse engineers of Sortimo "T-Boxx" bins.
I have uploaded individual STLs for 1x1-4x4 boxes, I will probably upload up to 6x6 later, but the standard Prusa size printer can't even print a 4x4.
They work well for one-off odd sizes, but can take a while to print if you need a ton of them. Due to the nature of 3D printing a complex, thin solid body like this, I thickened the walls up a bit to help it print cleaner and sturdier. This does reduce the space inside just a tiny bit.
I recommend printing them right side up, with supports below between the studs.
Here are my recommendations for print settings:
.2mm Layer Height, I've found .4mm has problems de-laminating from the support cause of cooling thick layers.
10-20% Infill
Enable "Z Hop Only Over Printed Parts" to prevent stringing along the inside.
I use 20% "Support Density" to have less problems bridging over support.
I use [45] "Support Infill Line Directions" to change the support angle to 45deg off axis.
You can try "Adaptive Layers" but I've found it to be more trouble than it's worth on saving print time. .2mm prints look great and it's fine for me on some one-off bins I don't want to buy a whole T-Boxx for. If you're going to be printing a ton, you might want to optimize the Solidworks model a little more and mess with the settings a ton.
If you have Solidworks and want to mess around with it I've included the Accurate model based on actual bin dimensions and the Print Optimized Parametric version. The Parametric version can be changed in size using the Global Variables.
