Designed for snow making, only compressed air and a tank with (not pressured) water necessary. It can suck water from deep of more than 1 m. Water level must be below the snowgun position.
Assembly:
This thing contains of two 3D printable parts - ejector body and ejector nozzle (with variant B for basic usage and variant C for more power compressors). Then you need a compressor plug, 0,4 mm M6 nozzle for 3D printers and a hose with external diameter up to 9 mm.
Assembly the M6 nozzle for 3D printers. Power is depending on air pressure and a nozzle diameter. It is recommended to use 0,4 mm nozzle for hobby compressors and pressured air 0,6 to 0,8 MPa.
Also, it is necessary to screw-in a compressed air plug, see the picture. You can glue any pipe or hose with diameter up to 9 mm for water connection.
Use ejector nozzle B for first assembly with 0,4 mm 3D printer nozzle inside.
When it is fully assembled, connect the pressured air plug, place hose to the water and check functionality. Probably the hose will make bubbles instead of sucking the water. Then slowly screw-out the ejector nozzle until it will suck the water and start running. It makes too big water-drops if it is screwed-out too enough (low efficiency, high water consumption).
Notes:
For the best snow quality use pressured air with maximal possible pressure (max. 1,0 MPa). Then find the best nozzle diameter - your compressor probably is not designed for continuous working. Most of the hobby compressors are designed for cycles 2,5 min running with 7,5 min pause. Overloading can cause damage of your compressor!
When air is leaving the nozzle, it reduces pressure temperature and relative humidity also. It is the best possible enviroment for snow making.
Material: ABS, PETG
Resolution: 0,2 mm
Infill: 100%
Supports: No
Use at least 5 perimeters! There is pressured air inside.
