This is a little holster for generic thread snips. Snips have a very pointy end so wearing them as a pendant can be a little risky, but they're so handy that people who need them all day usually ignore the risk and do exactly that. This Snips Slipper holds your snips for you with no risk of inadvertent injury or damage to your clothes.
There are three versions:
one with a loop to thread a leather thong or paracord through and wear as a pendant
one with a flat back to use with double-sided tape or just as a loose case
one which holds a 1/2" magnet - this one is handy for sticking to an industrial (steel body) sewing machine or to a steel cabinet.
Regardless of which way the snips slipper is mounted, the snips should hold firm without falling out.
