I remixed this because i could not obtain the same hardware as was used in the original. I got a bag of assorted springs from princess Auto. I had some M3x45 bolts in my spare bolt kit. and extra M3 nuts from the Printer kit. The spring was about 6mm diameter by 40mm uncompressed,
On the front piece that holds the sensor I added ( subtracted) a slot 8mm wide by 10mm deep to accommodate the compressed spring if needed. I changed the round recesses for the sensor mounting bolts to 5.55mm hex to hold a nut and then place the bolt through the front of the sensor. I replaced the stock M3x20mm bolts with nes that were 25mm long. I have to add some washers to keep the threaded portion from dragging on the other piece . M3x22mm would have been perfect
In the back plate I increased the depth of teh recess for the mount holes another 1mm. I also moved them down 5mm.
I have the original mounted with the sensor plate rotated 180 degrees from the intended orientation so I could file a slot for the spring. With the sensor mounted as high as I could place it, I have a bit less then 2mm of adjustment left. the changes i mad wil leave me with about 7mm of adjustment room at the end of the day plus if I have to swap the 30mm heat break with a 26mm one, i can still accommodate that.
