Ok so maybe I wont be finishing the last Decknar planes, but I did want to make another police car for the Southern Maine International Police Department which I guess now is a branch of the Maine State Police as the only plate I could stamp on it was a Maine State Police Plate. Anyhow I recently sold my 1998 Subaru Legacy GT and bought a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, and MAN do I love it more than anything. Working spotlight, red dome light still works, back doors dont open from the inside. The car has balls. 4.6L V8. I just simply cannot understand how the police departments nation wide part with these cars so easily, or why Ford Ever decided to stop making these beast of a car. But anyways the SMIPD still will have a bunch of these roaming around along side the new Ford Police Interceptor's which in my opinion look great! But according to the police officer's I've met they honestly suck, the dont feel sturdy, and they are very expensive to maintain. Only upside, AWD which is something it has over the CVPI. This P71 has been equipped with simple interior light bar display. In the back we have the JPOC Optix Top-Slick, and down on the bottom of the rear window we have the LINX6 Traffic Advisor. The brakes and reverse hideaways have strobes in them and do a wig wag pattern. To get the idea, when the left break light flashes, the right reverse hideaways will flash and vice versa. In the front of the car we have forward hideaways, which is the very side of the headlight unit, the cars running lights for those who don't know. No grille lights, but the a Federal Signal Omega siren is tucked away in the grille (not modeled). attached to the windsheild we have on the bottom a JPOC Responder changed to a Blue and White scheme, and we have two Whelen Avenger's on either side of the windsheild. No mirror lights. I did adjust the spotlight to be tucked away as the cop car is not in a active traffic stop. Engine is the same as my car, 4.7 Liter V8. I added the police interceptor logo out back as this is a CVPI. Unfortionatly some idiot ripped my PI badge off my car. Eh only 7 bucks on Ebay so what the hell ill get a new one. Sadly enough im not very talented so I wasnt able to put the rims my car has on this CVPI, so the steel wheel with chrome cap will do. My rims match those of the NYPD, LAPD. Thanks to Spencer's Agency Supply for the origional CVPI, as well as JPOC or Joesph C for the interior light bars. Thanks and enjoy! EDIT: I forgot something major on the white CVPI. The black paint on the truck between both tail lights. Makes the reverse lights more noticeable. 2016 Boeingfan727 #CVPI #Ford #Ford_Crown_Victoria #Maine #Police_Car #SMI #Southern_Maine_International
