Smart faucet for filtered water. It often happens that we start filling up the kettle and forget about it. When we remember, the water is already falling down from the ceiling of our neighbor below.
To prevent this from happening I created a system on an Arduino which has a water meter and a solenoid valve. With such a system you can connect up to two filters. I have a drinking water filter and a reverse osmosis filter.
The system is able to count the remaining life of your filter and you will know exactly when you need to replace the filter.
We also have 4 buttons. Kettle, Glass and Finger buttons refer to the drinking filter and the button Jug is for the reverse osmosis filter. With these buttons you can quickly choose desired amount of water. Each one of this presets can be adjusted in the menu.
The water meter has a calibration function, storing data into non-volatile memory and mutable buzzer. It is also possible to set the volume of water to be filled for each button.

By pressing the "Finger" and then pressing the "Encoder" we can rotate the encoder and set any amount of water we want in increments of 50 milliliters.
If you like my projects please “like” them. This will help a lot for further development and new projects.
