A fairly basic blended wing aircraft with V-tail. Right now it's just the blocked out as a solid form. I'm thinking of altering it into sections in an attempt to make a flyable model sometime in the future.

Updated the base mesh. Tail is now welded into the mesh, such that it should be a closed manifold object. Next step is resizing and hollowing out the model. I'll leave the current base mesh file, and new updates will be in additional files. This should make things a bit more convenient for remixing.

Some preliminary parts. Some early separated components, at the moment these are just the outer shell. Not sure if this is an adequate thickness for the outer skin, so some feedback one way or the other may be useful. I noticed from images of flyable models, some seem to be fairly thin, but how thin can you go?
Also added another .blend file. It should give an idea of component mock-up in regards to future progress.

Merry Christmas! :) Anyhow some minor progress. Working on modeling interior support structures for the hollowed out shell pieces. Still slow progress. Boolean does so much, but to get it cleaned up it takes manual work. So that's what's going on now.https://youtu.be/kw1ZJXhMSLE

A new year already? How about that. Added the next variant of the nose in the .STL files. It's been modified with a motor mount and some basic ventilation.

Just doing a test since I found Cura was open source. Still don't have a 3D printer though. Got an inner wing section from the .STL to fit in the box for Utilmaker 3 in Cura and it doesn't seem to show any obvious errors. Some other stuff may be a bit big for many printers, so I may have to adjust the breakdown again. Yeah I'm a noob at this. :)
This is still quite involved. I suspect the better known 3D-printed planes must have a whole team of people working on them. Would be nice to get some collab work on this one. Anyone?
By the way, the gcode file from that test has been uploaded.
