Sinking Orca (Jaws, 1975)

This is a scene cut from the final release(Jaws). It is placed right after Hooper (the oceanographer) dives down in a shark cage, and the cage is destroyed. On the stern of the sinking Orca is Quint (the boat owner who's in water up to his chest) and Brody (Chief of Amity Police, who is sitting on the starboard gunwale) both talking about how to kill the shark, because they don't have much time. Moments later, the shark will jump out of the water and land on the partially submergerd stern (like it is in the model) thus pushing the Orca under further. Quint, in rage fires a harpoon at the shark, but the rope catches around his ankle, and Quint gets dragged down along with the shark. Just after that, the shark drowns from all the gunfire and harpoon damage. Hooper swims up to the Orca, and meets Brody, who is standing on the pulpit.
