I believe I have submitted a heavy version of this Arbor and swing. If so, I believe this layout simplifies the design and structure without loosing too many of the attractive elements like DIY or Cheap on the Pocket, for what its worth. Anyway, this is the design I settled for - forgive the drawn-in tubes in place of rope, or more likely it will be heavy gage stainless chain when completed. I used the same 3-inch Wood-Achor Eye-Bolts all around to ease worry of so many parts. Where the 'chain' passes through the wood-frame, assume drilled holes to accommodate the chain links pass-through. I added the canopy as an after-thought to accommodate the summer time sun we have here-in the South-Eastern USA. Make them shorter (perhaps 2-feet total length, that is two-foot USA measure BTW) for decorative purpose, or leave out all together; matter of taste and of your need should this model suit your own interest in recreating. I use my own modified Kimberley 3D perspective persona as a Perspective piece. As usual, Use, and enjoy! Please 'LIKE' if you can, or simply 'DOWNLOAD' so that I know these things continue to be appreciated and desired. I enjoyed working to make this both financially feasible (I AM a bit tight on the pocket-book, but there are other things I can spend it on!) and a perfectionist - my former design was terribly HEAVY as in pure weight -- and although superior endurance, the blasted thing would require huge chain-link to support it properly, and I would have had to use larger ARBOR structure pieces (1x12's and 8x8's) for the main legs and supports. The Swing itself was enormously heavy - trust me! ;-) Cheers! Enjoy, and Ciao! #Arbor #Arbor_Swing #DIY #Summer #Summer_Swing #Swing #Tim #Wood #Wood_Arbor #Wood_Swing #Wooden
