Update 20.02.2015:
New version with a different vibration damping approach here:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:691553
Update 12.02.2015:
I added an "extended" version of both the arm and Mobius mount.
I realized that when installing a filter lens in front of the mobius, the weight of the filter is too much to balance the camera anymore. Now it can be slid further left and back to allow more adjustments.
Update 23.01.2015:
Mobius carrier updated again. Less support again, strengthened the top of the upper screw slit a bit, added a gap for certain larger USB plugs.
Camera is now meant to be slid into it straight (as opposed to angled), side supports are lengthened to give more hold for the camera and less chance to break after a few insertions. Front springy "nubs" were reduced in height to allow straight sliding.
Update 22.01.2015:
Updated the Mobius carrier to need less support when printing and slightly sturdier clips.
Update 17.01.2015:
Finally was able to try it out. I left the cam running while doing the initial setup of my rebuilt quadcopter.

This is what the copter does when running auto tune (not my video!):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE-NJUlXxe8
Very simple gimbal that I made to fit the X520 "Alien" type frame. Works with the basic cheap china gimbal motors, 4x M3 back and 4x M2 front mounting holes. 9mm anti vibration balls needed.
Adjustable screw slots to balance the camera perfectly.
