For those with old, crappy printers without proper hotends, or those who just don't care.
Uploading in case someone finds this useful.
40mm fan mount for 3D printers that don't have proper heatsinks or whatever. I tried to find one on thingiverse, but i couldn't find one that wasn't for e3d/[insert specific printer here]. Got tired of searching, and just made my own.
You probably won't be needing this, unless your hotend assembly is like 6 years old or something.(Which mine is.)
I don't know what this mount is called, but I've seen this mount being used a lot a few years ago, back when heated beds were a new thing, and aluminum extrusion framed printers were uncommon. (Yes, my printer is THAT old. All those newfangled 3d printers have e3d hotends and proper cooling and stuff. Back in my day, it was throat - heater block - nozzle. )
"cools" both extruder and part at the same time, although this is mostly for part cooling. Prints without supports.
