I only have ready access to 6mm* acrylic, so I decided to convert the ShrimpBot to 6mm. I've made a couple other small adjustments. I've changed the axle holes and riser height to accommodate the motors I have and scooted the riser holes around a bit.
I've also added holes to tap for M3 screws to support an arduino UNO and holes to use M4 screws to secure the layers together.
The motors I'm using look like these:http://www.amazon.com/Biaxial-Geared-Motor-Plastic-Tracing/dp/B00HIFOMY0http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-shipping-10-set-Smart-Car-Robot-Plastic-Tire-Wheel-Tyre-DC3-6V-Gear-Motor-For/582096852.html
The acrylic I'm using actually measures a bit under 6mm.
