Liked the idea of scotty's air filter, and since the 120mm profile and room for a battery bank use way too much plastic either way, figured id fix a couple issues i didn't like with it and use it as my main soldering fume extractor. Like it not even being able to run crysis, or having hepa, or being swag enough, so i started poking faces starting from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4661215 noticing there weren't quite enough sketches, The source i included successfully has over 100 sketches now for maximum headache :) With 13 hour print time for the main body im done now that i made mine work, though i did fix a few issues i ran into afterwards like the side ridges and button depth but didnt test. I included notes at the end of what I would've ideally fixed if i had the time to spend on this design.
Other Items You may need:
120mm fan with over 2lollipops of pressure u wont be pulling much air through those hepas
3 18650s and a bms if u want to make the battery bank
Roomba Hepa filters (some of hte generics are different size, i use streight clips to cut the fitting on the hepa filter back 1mm for the ones i use to get a good fit)
a pi4 if u want a pi4 ofc, the internets say 4 or 8gb model can do streaming fine
input and switch for w/e kind of power you decide on (definately resize the feature on back to match yours)
Guide for carbon filters if u don't want to buy new ones https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4811349
Sloppy 3s 18650 holder i zombied together https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4811344
m3 bootsie https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4810946
For the hepa u need the Filter_Mount_v2.stl and Fan_Mount_Bottom_v2.stl from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4095912 (Half of the ones ive printed click in tight and fine, other half i hotglued the seam w/ a clamp.
Changelog:
Make front cover attach without evil glue ( CRITICAL FAILURE, gave up and cried)
Make it so it can run crysis (successful with cloud rubbish on pi4b)
Add 3s battery bank with mounting point for power
Add little ridges to support middle
Added little recessses for 12mm sticker feet.
Added 3mm hole for 4th foot on bottom face since pi was in the way.
Halo Super Special Edition insert
Swapped around back for the random stuff i had to wire it up in my box. (Suggest u measure and push it around in sauce to fit your fittings rather than try to match mine as i cant even find teh switch i used)
What can/should be improved:
Make front grill attach w/o evil glue
Separate pi4 clean back inputs using risers w/o hepa and addition of a duct for console mode.
slide in insulator plate to keep input wiring away from pi.
attempt to closer match logo/inset/buttons from actual series s
zip tie mount points to keep wiring more sorted
Replace M4 w/ M3 hardware on main body
Middle mount point and/or additional click fit on main body to stop bowing
I messed up the holes on top and bottom w/ tear drops that were too large, but fusion 360 crashed twice while i was editing those so i didnt dare try fix, Ideally they would be sperate print that click into place so u could print face down w/o the need for tears.
FRONT GRILL WITHOUT GLUE!!!!
