This is a sequential shifter for driving simulators. The shift feeling is imitated by two bearings following a track, preloaded with a spring. I think the bearing track come out really good, this is the kind of shifting feel that I wanted to achieve when I started this project.

For the spring you can use any kind, I also attached a printable one if you can't find a proper spring.

Currently they are attached to the shifter with toothpicks, but it should be attached by M2 screws.
Required hardware:
10pc M4x10-20
1pc M6x40
1pc M6 threaded rod, around 140 mm long, it depends how long throw you want, and how long is the spring you use.
4 pc M6 nuts
I think the assembly is straightforward from the pictures.
For smooth movement, cut a plastic straw piece, and place it between the slider and the threaded rod.
Electronics wise use whatever you like, you can use an arduino board, teensy, leo bodnar boards, etc.
