This is a model 3d printed of "self-assembling" capsid of a virus: 20 fragments of an icosahedron that are mounted when agitated.
Each fragment represents a unit of the capsid, and the shaking represents Brownian motions - random motion of the particles in a liquid or gas, which is the result of collision between the atoms.
Each piece has two magnetos (magnets) on each side, and each side has two magnets with opposing poles: one positive and one negative. Parts printed in PLA in the printer Stella (https://boaimpressao3d.com.br/) and 3mm x 1,5mm. magnets
