I HAVE NOT TESTED THESE YET! And since I only have 1 S&G 0881 only one of them will be tested. If you print and use them, please comment which one you printed and whether it worked as expected.
So the backstory: The S&G 0881 is a beefy disc detainer lock used once upon a time by the US military. When the military decommissioned these locks they destroyed all the keys but just discarded the locks themselves.
This lock contains 3 discs with 3 possible valid positions for each disc for a combination of 27 possible keys. However, that number is cut down to 17 possibles once you account for two additional facts: the discs will not be all cut to the same position and the keys will not be cut in such a way that the key can be removed while the lock is unlocked.
Thanks to some work done by BosnianBill (of YouTube fame) we have a handy chart which gives us the bitting on most of the valid keys. I've used that chart to make these.
Please note: No one should still be using these locks. They are incredibly weak against picking and the information needed to make keys for them has been published online for years. If you do see someone using one, please make them aware of these facts rather than using these to break into someplace that they think is secure. Point them towards the updated S&G 0883, a much more secure version of these locks.
