Replacing part DD94-01003A
Not copied or reverse engineered, designed from scratch.
One day I've realized that my 7 y.o. dishwasher no longer pushes water. Of course this is late Saturday, tall stack of dishes waiting. Oh that look on my wife's face!
To take Samsung apart where impeller is takes minutes, no need to pull it out. What I found is leftovers from impeller that looks like it was made out of dirty sugar.
Part on Amazon is $38. Local Sears moved away and shipping will take days. So I made one. Took one hour to design and 8 hours to print.
I use PETG, appeared to be stable or "conditionally" stable to all components of dishwasher tablets.
Printed with thinnest layers my printer able to do, tuned filling factor to make as close to 100% as I can, to improve layer fusion and resulting part integrity.

Part designed with zero clearance - PETG is pretty elastic and allows tight fit on the shaft. Use some fine file to clean shaft hole and whatever left from supports. Next morning my dishwasher was as good as new. After using if for a few weeks I have no plans to pursue OEM part. Works perfect. Maybe someone will run into same situation? So here it is.

Additionally: rubber flap check valve swelled like +30% from original size! Just sitting there diagonal. See my other post.

Update and Warning: after using it for couple months - one day I hear once again pump motor running freely and no water flowing. Pulled printed impeller out - it is warped a bit and flats on the shaft mate are stretched to round, no flats left. There is no wear on the plastic, it just warped. Investigation revealed that my wife recently used "sanitize" cycle, that apparently involved heating water to near boiling point. Further investigation revealed that PETG start to stretch at about 80C.
I just printed another one and told wife to avoid sanitize cycle. I guess I need to investigate if another material can handle heat near water boiling point better. On another note: flap holding well and does the job.
