this model, third attempt, tried to minimise the accidental step. There is a stainless steel base which is to be fixed to the deck from the top side. The top lid will be then screwed to the base, easy to undo for cleaning and occasional inspection. for the mechanism I opted for a spiral groove which is activated by turning the inside vent grill itself.
