This Version 2 update has a few refinements from the original S600 design. First change is the aero style winglets extend the wingspan to 30". Next I increased the battery bay size so it could fit a wider range of lipos. The last change was developing a camera holder for a AIO (all in one) camera vtx for FPV which makes wiring easier.
Links to purchase parts used are below.
The Electronics Tray indexes with the end of the cutout for the center blunt section of the S800, use it as a guide to mark where foam needs to be removed for the battery tray. The battery is pushed pretty far forward because the weight of the tips and vertical stabilizers is located behind the CG. There is a hole to run a horizontal spar through the electronics tray if desired. The front edges of the battery bay may require trimming/sanding to match up cleanly with the airfoil, but they are much closer in shape than the V1 version. In the tray I stack up the 5v bec, ESC, and then XMR and direct solder everything together. It's a tight fit, but it does fit.
The motor mount area must be cut from the wing. The motor mount can be attached with hot glue, Goop, or a cement adhesive, just make sure the thrust angle is in line with the airfoil and the cut is square to the center line.
The camera mount is for an all in one style micro fpv camera and that is run off the balance plug of the lipo. The AIO camera/vtx from AKK has a built in OSD and when run off the balance plug of the LIPO it will give you cell voltage which is very helpful for monitoring battery levels. Available here for only $16 it's an awesome camera. https://goo.gl/DktroP
The other option is using the HS1177 mount with crash guards from the V1 design and putting the vtx in the wing bay.
The winglets and center stabilizer fins were updated to be 3d printed. In the small cavity for the stock epp winglets I placed some LED's to light up the semi transparent PET printed winglets for some night flying. I might go back to the 4mm coroplast for the center stabilizers because it is much lighter.

I opted to spar and laminate with 3mill film and install balsa elevons. The molded epp elevons would work fine and I don't think laminate is required to get in the air.
The CG is roughly 5" from the nose, or right on the main carbon spar through the middle of the plane. It is also very important that the wing is balanced left to right, if it is too heavy on one side launching will be challenging. I was able to hit the cg mark with a 1300-1500mah 4cell with a 2206 motor.
Enjoy!
