The Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium comprises a football stadium and adjacent Greyhound Racing track. It is the home ground of League of Ireland side Derry City FC. Until September 2018, the stadium was known as the Brandywell Stadium before it was renamed to honour their late former captain, Ryan McBride. This coincided with a £7 million redevelopment, of which a new 955 seater stand was built and named in honour of another late former player, Mark Farren.
