PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE DESIGNED AS TOYS AND/OR COLLECTIBLE ITEMS AND ARE NOT MEANT IN ANY WAY AS WEAPONS AND ARE MERELY FOR FUN AND PLAY. I have no intention of them ever being anything more than a harmless toy and I believe that they stay within the community guidelines, if not please let me know and I'll take the files down, I don't mean to cause offence or uproar.
A pair of rubber band guns to be made from plywood (4mm) in layers.
The central slide that allows the trigger mechanism to work is sprung in an alive at the top. It also connects to an external slider on either side that can be pulled for slam firing.
The rubber bands are loaded onto the rotary "hammer", which is pulled backwards and latches with the slide and trigger. There is also a fang shaped rubber band holder/magazine built into the front of the gun. Theoretically by opening the magazine by sliding the latch then pulling the gap between the "fangs" across the top of the gun's twin you can reload it.
Named after the twins of Roman legend, Romulus and Remus are similarly painted black except the highlighting of one is red and the other is gold.
The STLs should help, I've included some images showing the assembly and the pdf provides templates for gluing and cutting directly from plywood.
