RPi One Project
This DIY project was born from the idea of using an old (not working) PSOne as an enclosure for a Raspberry Pi 4 and some components.
The result is a perfect retro gaming mod, compact, powerful and nice looking for us, millenials :D

What you'll need to buy
Raspberry Pi 4 (minimum 2Gb RAM)
Raspberry heatsink : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000346812145.html
5V 30x30mm fan
micro SD card (64Gb for more fun)
micro HDMI male to HDMI female (spend a bit of money on this, some don't pass the audio) : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32403870454.html
Components for the power board and USB panels (see EasyEDA files)
4 old (but working and shielded) USB cords (ask your friends)
What you'll need to build
The power board : https://easyeda.com/Pimousse/rpi-power-board
Assemble USB panels (pinout on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB )
Disassemble original power button, remove the spring to convert it into a momentary switch
Replace original power LED with an LED and 330 Ohm resistor
3D printing tips
Avoid PLA as the case may be really hot (Raspberry Pi 4 are toasters)
If possible, use a "cream" colored filament for matching the original PSOne color (I would have loved to do that, but buying a whole spool for it...)
Code
In /boot/config.txt
Add at the end of the file
# Configure GPIO for power supply management
dtoverlay=gpio-shutdown,gpio_pin=20
dtoverlay=gpio-poweroff,gpiopin=21

Also, follow this guide for controlling the fan regarding the CPU temperature :https://www.hackster.io/potnik/temperature-controlled-fan-for-raspberry-pi-034be2
