And can be attached with 3X M3 or 6/32 screws and nuts of your choosing. Then slide an M5 or 1/4-20 bolt through the mount hole and again a nut of your choosing. This produces an incredibly stable mount for your dial indicator and enables you to use nifty tools like Open DACT.
REMEMBER: A dial indicator will read REVERSE values in Open DACT. For some reason you need to interpret the negatives as positives and vice versa. I have no idea why but that's the situation. Enjoy!
