Roof Screw Spacer

This is a simple repair that fixed my leaking hard top. The leak was at the passenger door, as is common and no sealing strips etc would help.
I had a couple of times stopped the leak by tightening the two roof screws but after a while that method became ineffective. I also found that the soft squishy feel when tightening the screws was gone, and they stopped turning in a very hard and mechanical way. I realised that the screw threads were bottoming out and I was not compressing the seal anymore.
So I made two spacers, 4mm thick to go under the head of the screws.
After installing them the soft feeling was back when tightening, so it seems I was again compressing the seals. I had to re-tighten several times during the first days.
And the leak was gone.
You could of course use a couple of large diameter washers, but since we are here...
