Real rock scanned (rock085). Mesh reduced to 252 vertices (500 triangular faces) using MeshLab. Model painted with a photo of a vine growing on sandstone in Sydney. The model was derived from a natural rock so its shape will have a natural look when scaled to any size. To find other models with a texture showing vegetation search for 'VegTex', to find other models with sandstone texture search for 'SstTex' or to find models with the same texture as this model search for 'SydSsV01'. We are using these models to test our Rocksolver software which solves the jigsaw puzzle of building with irregular-shaped blocks of unprocessed rock.
